What is VSwap in OpenVZ container?

VSwap, or Virtual Swap, is a new memory management feature presented in RHEL6 based OpenVZ container to use memory (VSwap) like a swap file. The performance is slightly reduced compared to RAM to simulate swapping without impacting disk I/O. Also in RHEL6 based OpenVZ container Linux is borrowing unused memory for disk caching.
